SJ TEETH Evaluation Report 2021-2022
In Fiscal Year (FY) 2021-2022, First 5 San Joaquin (F5SJ) invested in the San Joaquin
Treatment + Education for Everyone on Teeth + Health (SJ TEETH) program, which
seeks to improve oral health outcomes for children in San Joaquin County. SJ TEETH is
funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and San Joaquin County contingency
funds, and revives an earlier version of the program implemented from 2017-2020.
Five organizations provide culturally responsive dental care coordination and education
for children up to age 18 and their parents/caregivers who are insured by Medi-Cal.
