Sophia Lee

Director

Sophia offers broad expertise in health and human services as a researcher, educator, and former social worker.  At Harder+Company, she blends her mixed-methods research with other skills—including social network analysis, database technical assistance, and strong writing capacity—to support public and social sector organizations’ information needs. She has a particular passion for working on issues that benefit underserved children, youth, and families, and has repeatedly teamed up with clients to present evaluation findings at conferences nationwide. Sophia has intermediate proficiency in Korean.

Sophia was previously employed by the First 5 San Diego, where she helped to develop their five-year strategic plan and worked on an asset-mapping project of early childhood services.  She also has front-line experience working in a family maternity center where she interfaced with social workers and health care professionals to provide patients with counseling, additional care, and referrals to other community agencies. An adventurer at heart, she loves to travel the world and experience new places and cultures.
