With extensive training as a criminologist, Casey is skilled at collecting and analyzing data to evaluate criminal justice, education, social services, and public health policies and programs. She has rich experience creating and implementing mixed-method study designs and making data accessible to a wide variety of stakeholders. She has developed reports on juvenile delinquency, child welfare, early childhood education, prison re-entry, and suicide prevention among many other topics. She has over a decade of experience gathering data from underserved and marginalized communities via interviews, case studies, focus groups, and intercept surveys. Casey also plays a crucial data management and quality assurance role for many of the projects she works on, bringing her strong organizational skills to complex and fast-paced research efforts across a wide range of issue areas.
Prior to joining Harder+Company, Casey gained direct service experience as a community operations specialist for the San Diego CHOICE Program. In this capacity, she provided intensive supervision and case management to at-risk youth while working closely with community agencies, schools, and the juvenile justice system. Casey’s hard work and disciple can be attributed to her 14 years as a competitive elite gymnast and 4 years of competitive college cheerleading.
