Raúl Martínez


With over 10 years of experience working with clients across a range of social issues to strengthen participant outcomes and program effectiveness, Raul has directed numerous projects at Harder+Company, including many multi-stakeholder, cross-sector projects. His professional focus is on vulnerable populations, including high-risk children and teens, and immigrant and low-income groups. He is skilled in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including focus groups, structured and unstructured interviews, phone surveys, and using multiple statistical analysis softwares. He also has advanced evaluative and facilitation skills, and frequently contributes to design and implementation of complex client engagements across the firm. He is fluent in Spanish.

During his tenure at Harder+Company, Raúl has been a key member of our teams working on local First 5 evaluations in Sacramento, Contra Costa, Riverside, Merced and Yolo counties and is currently managing the Early Learning Opportunities (ELO) evaluation for First 5 Monterey County. He has worked on evaluation, needs assessments and planning projects within a range of content areas, including child development, public policy, mental health, binational health, violence prevention, chronic health issues, and civic engagement. Raúl has been involved with the Voluntary Legal Services Program of Northern California and with the Martinez Youth Baseball & Softball Association. He enjoys the springtime when he can watch his kids play baseball and softball in the park.
