Rami Arafah

Senior Research Consultant

Rami is an accomplished researcher and social worker who brings to his work rigorous training and a background in human service practice and management. He is skilled in mixed methods program evaluation, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and facilitation, participatory research methods, and advanced statistical analysis. At Harder+Company, Rami has led projects in a number of content areas and with a diverse range of stakeholder communities, including work on early education, workforce development, supports for under-resourced transitional age youth, and the development of responsive and trauma-informed public health systems. He is also fluent in Arabic.

Prior to joining Harder+Company, Rami was a researcher at the Mack Center on Nonprofit and Public Sector Management, as well as the Institute for the Study of Societal Issues at the University of California, Berkeley. Previously, Rami oversaw nonprofit programs that provided case management to older adult refugees and immigrants, as well as English language and employability training. He also served as an academic coordinator at BAYAC AmeriCorps. Rami was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, but now calls California home.
