Nia is passionate about working with organizations to maximize their social impact. She is skilled at conducting rigorous quantitative and qualitative statistical analyses, developing and managing databases, synthesizing and presenting complex research findings, creating research protocols, developing research participant recruiting strategies, and leading training sessions. She has extensive expertise working to improve large-scale programs and policies in the areas of social welfare, health, and education, particularly those affecting children and families, both domestically and internationally.
Prior to joining Harder+Company, Nia was a Steinhardt Doctoral Fellow and research project manager at New York University. She also served as an instructor/adjunct faculty at New York University, teaching courses in psychology and statistics. Additionally, she has worked for the New York City Government Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a research and analytics consultant. Nia holds a PhD in Applied Psychology and Quantitative Methods. Nia enjoys exploring San Diego, traveling, and watching college football (Go Gators!).
