Lidia is a skilled researcher with extensive experience supporting violence prevention efforts, including sexual violence, commercial sexual and exploitation of children, and bullying. She has particular expertise working with teens and young adults, probation youth, and family services. She has a strong background conducting evaluations for federal, state and county agencies, as well as local non-profits. Lidia is skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews and surveys, data management, data analysis, generation of charts and presentations, and report writing. She is fluent in Spanish.
Prior to joining Harder+Company, Lidia served as a researcher for multiple San Diego State University entities, including the Title IX Task Force, Youth Violence Research Lab, and Social Science Research Lab. She also worked as a community prevention assistant for the Teen Relationship Violence Prevention Program in San Diego, where she helped administer surveys on bullying, social cognitions, and family factors associated with aggression to high school, middle school, and college students. Outside of the office Lidia enjoys traveling, finding new coffee shops, and spending time with her friends and family.
