Aimée’s educational background and her experience as a direct service provider inform her work at Harder+Company on projects involving community planning and evaluation. She has a strong background in the social sector working with both qualitative and quantitative analytical methods, including: deriving relevant and meaningful information from secondary data, instrumentation (e.g., creating surveys and interview and focus group protocols); primary data collection (e.g., conducting focus groups and interviews with diverse stakeholders and constituents), content analysis, and statistical analysis in both SPSS and Excel. She is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
Prior to joining Harder+Company in 2011, Aimée served as a budget and revenue analyst for the City and County of San Francisco. She also worked as a policy consultant with the San Francisco Human Services Agency. Before that, she spent three years working as a family services specialist with the Mission Head Start Program in San Francisco. Her field experience includes work with the World Social Forum in India and volunteer work with an orphanage and an animal refuge park in Bolivia. Aimée is also a capoeira “Instrutora” at ABADÁ-Capoeira San Francisco, a nonprofit Brazilian arts center, where she teaches a weekly class to raise funds for sending teenage participants on a biennial study trip to Brazil.
