Matthew has dedicated his career to making data and evaluation findings accessible to diverse stakeholders and useful for strategic decision making. He brings to his role as Research Associate nearly a decade of experience in nonprofit and community development sectors. A skilled mixed-methods evaluator and adept facilitator, he excels at leading planning processes; conducting complex data analysis; presenting findings to diverse audiences; and managing focus groups for community-based organizations throughout the country, with a strong emphasis on immigrant communities and hard-to-reach populations.
Prior to joining Harder+Company he spent several years working with organizations doing place-based and asset-based community development, and his graduate research examined the organizing and program models of faith-based community development organizations and churches in El Salvador. A huge sports fan, Matt hosts a fantasy football podcast and spends an inordinate amount of his free time watching football and setting his weekly lineups.
