Loraine Park

Director

Loraine has over a decade of experience in applied research and planning work within a variety of social service and educational settings. She is a seasoned project leader who brings her rich background as both a social worker and educator to her evaluation and planning work. Loraine has led numerous large, multi-site evaluations for public agencies and nonprofits, and she is skilled in the use of both quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods. She offers particularly deep knowledge of educational and child welfare systems in the greater Los Angeles region. She has also consulted on the development and refinement of data systems intended to capture information for program operations and evaluation. Loraine joined Harder+Company in 2008 with an extensive background in the fields of social services and education, which provides a grounded perspective to our engagements.

Prior to joining Harder+Company, Loraine worked with at-risk children and families, as a classroom teacher, school-based social worker, and service provider for several nonprofit organizations. She is keenly interested in social service program design and child welfare and education reform efforts. Loraine is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the American Evaluation Association.

Despite limited swimming skills, Loraine is a certified scuba diver and has enjoyed diving in Central America, the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia.
